Is this the one that glorifies arms dealers and so forth?

I'm not sure. I haven't heard a lot about it really, I just stumbled across it on t'internet. I don't think it's particularly pro-arms dealing but no doubt as it's an American film there will be the mandatory glamourisation of anything to do with shooting.

i've been reading reviews and chatting to a few mates who went to see it, and it leans very much towards the anti-arms side of things, from what i've heard.
general opinions tend to range from "really good" and "original" to "a bit preachy" and "predictable". either way, i think it's something we should definitely all go to see.
how about sometime soon?

Oo-er. This Thursday after the meeting we're still hoping to go to the cinema and see this (I think it's a Cineworld now). The screening is at 2040hrs (8.40pm) which gives us plenty of time to get from our meeting to the pub, and thence to the film ;D The film should be finished by 2300 (11.00pm) for those of you who need tucking into bed by mummy The cost, with production of an NUS card, will be £3.90 to those interested in going. See you Thursday (tomorrow, cripes!)
