Hey people can someone help me with my campaign posters, I was thinking of putting some random facts about things such as control arms, fairtrade and energy efficiency on them.
For example
• There are around 639 million small arms and light weapons in the world today. Eight million more are produced every year.
Any ideas would be welcome, contact me on carlisleunited@gmail.com

chris m8, whilst i think this is a good idea i think its a bad idea for your campaign, you need to say more things about what you are going to do, what yopu would like to achieve and what you want to aim for
you can add one or 2 random facts around but you need to focus attention on your self and your campaign, if you detract and go off at random angles like that you may lose voters as they will not know anything much about you but will know lots about the actual facts.
with myself i did my manifestos and made it clear i wanted the role. i mentioned things i would like to see changed and upgraded etc etc, its all about the person and being heard rather than raising awareness of issues.
at the end of the day m8 this is your campaing and i as well as all of pnp will be around to help you out so dont worry, just dont shoot your self in the foot

Yeah, I think Chris has a point. You shouldn't try to take on too wide of a campaign. You should probably pick two to three themes and stick to them, and deliver them thoroughly etc.
For themes, I would suggest sustainability and reducing the eco-footprint of the Union. If you hammer these sorts of things home, again and again, people might take note. I think a good theme would be illustrating to people how environmentally destructive the way we live is. There is ample material online for this sort of thing, which I can provide links for if you want.
I think a campaign based on that would have much more strength than a campaign based simply on notions of 'energy efficient lightbulbs' and 'recycling bins'. Which, in my opinion, is rather weak.

I second because I'm completely void of original thought. That is all.

Sounds good, but whatever you think would be a good thing to focus on has to be a realistic goal and actually have something I can physically do.
